Backlogs seen in the input/read paths of Parsing and processing services can lead to high CPU Utilization. This article example of how to check if there is a backlog

Information

To check if there is a backlog there are 2 ways to get this information:

From the Mediation/Server Manager GUI this can be found in the service configuration:

From the backend this can be found in the service configuration file which is located in - $HOME/config/services directory for the specific service:

To check if there is a backlog go to the directory and check the number of files of present there. If the count is high then this means there is a pile-up of files to process.
